Advising a provider of a social intranet solution including employee app on contracts and data protection

The client is a provider of a social intranet platform including a native employee app. THe client was looking for a lean but legally compliant set of contract documents and data protection texts. The platform is offered to customers (employers) both as a cloud solution and as an on-premise option (i.e. hosted by employers themselves).

My services included:

• Draft T&Cs / contractual terms between employers and the provider (cloud contract / SaaS contract) including order controller processor agreeement (DPA).
• Draft sample data protection policy for the social intranet and the employee app (as a blueprint for employers)
• Advice on data protection-compliant implementation of the social intranet and employee app
• Advice on drafting contracts with resellers (authorized dealers, distributors) for marketing as a white label solution
