Description

The client is a leading European provider of employee surveys and feedback, serving numerous prestigious large customers. In addition to project management and consulting services, the company offers its clients a proprietary cloud platform for conducting online employee surveys and analyzing the results as a Software as a Service (SaaS) model.

Data protection is typically a critical aspect of employee surveys, especially since employee representatives (works councils) pay particular attention to GDPR compliance during surveys. High sensitivity and expertise in data protection are, therefore, also a key selling point for the client.

Since 2018, I have been continuously and permanently supporting the company in the following areas:

  • Drafting general terms and conditions and cloud/SaaS contracts, including data processing agreements
  • Advising on issues of anonymization, pseudonymization, and benchmark creation
  • Assisting in the negotiation of contracts with individual large customers
  • Drafting template data protection notices for customers regarding employee surveys
  • Advising on GDPR-compliant design of employee surveys (anonymization, pseudonymization, aggregated reports/evaluations, industry benchmarks)
  • Other ongoing data protection advice (e.g., websites, requests from data subjects).
